STEM Academy Presentation
In an ever-changing, increasingly complex world, it is this STEM academy’s intent to provide our students with the knowledge and skills to solve problems, make sense of information, gather and evaluate evidence, and to use that evidence to make decisions. We strive to educate our future leaders, neighbors, and workers to understand and solve some of the complex challenges of today and tomorrow, and to meet the demands of the dynamic and evolving workforce, by building students' skills, content knowledge, and literacy in STEM fields.
Our focus is on preparing students to meet the needs of our local community in the fields of Health and Medical Sciences. To this end, we emphasize both workplace readiness skills and specific pathway competencies.
