Deborah Powell is currently the principal of the STEM Academy, Alternative School and the Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET). She also serves as the re-enrollment coordinator, supervises the Family Life Program, and grant administrator for 21st Century Community Learning Center grant for Pittsylvania County. Ms. Powell has over twenty years of experience working with adolescent students. She has served as a biology teacher, assistant principal and principal at the high school level. She is a proud graduate of Saint Paul’s College and Virginia Tech.
